Partner with The Lord's Hands & Hearts Ministries by giving a monetary gift and make a difference.  Help us carry out our mission to make an impact on those individuals and families facing issues of poverty, homelessness and hopelessness. 

We receive no government funds.  100% of our funding is by private donations.  We are a recognized 501c3 organization.  Contributions received from individuals, businesses, churches, civic organizations and foundations are used to provide life-changing programs for homeless men, women and children such as nutritious meals, safe shelter, Christian and academic education, career training/employment placement assistance.

The Lord's Hands & Hearts Ministries offers an excellent way to provide your church, organization or company with a one-stop opportunity for christian outreach, community involvement, social responsibility and corporate citizenship.

Working with Hands & Hearts leaders and seeing firsthand the men, women, and children we serve is a life-changing experience for many volunteers.

Ministry to the homeless is not as most people conceive it to be.  They are people just like you.  They have families.  They have dreams.  They have a desire to be in a better place.  It is our desire to let them know that we love them just as they are, but we believe that they have a purpose and a destiny that they can still reach.  We recognize them as sons and daughters of the living God - just as He does.  Through the eyes of Jesus and with the heart of God, you can love them too if you just give yourself a chance to see them for who God created them to be.

Come and serve with us.  There are many different types of opportunities available.  You can be as "out there with them" as you want , or you can serve behind the scenes and observe from a more comfortable distance. Please look over the duties in the link below.  Often our volunteers tell us, “We came to give to others, but ended up receiving much more in return”.

Our Saturday morning Solomon's Porch ministry begins at 8:30am and runs until about 2:30pm.  We would love to meet you there!

Every year, we reach thousands of people with life-giving help. We provide everything from food, toothpaste and laundry soap to Bibles, shoes and reading glasses. These items are given to the homeless and impoverished in our community FREE of charge. That is a major financial investment.

To help those in need, we rely on the generosity of individuals, churches, businesses, and civic groups who extend their support through in-kind donations. Each item donated by friends like you frees up dollars that can be used to purchase other general fund needs.

We welcome in-kind donations of:

Food: We always need fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, cheese, dairy, coffee, non-dairy creamer, sugar, instant oatmeal, bottled water and other staples.

Personal items: Personal items such as disposable razors, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, bath soap, shampoo and vitamins are needed.

Clothing: Men’s clothes, socks and underwear, jeans, coats, work shoes, and tennis shoes are needed in all sizes (especially extra large and tall sizes).

Furniture and major appliances: Home furnishings and major appliances are always in great demand.  See Adopt an Apartment section below for items needed for our housing program.

Nehemiah House is a 16 unit apartment building that will be used to offer people who have struggled with addictions, depression or other harmful circumstances, a second chance at life. Nehemiah House is about giving the opportunity to see the life God has designed, rather than the life these individuals stumbled upon or chose.

We are currently in the process of renovating each apartment to get Nehemiah House up and running.  We need your carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and demolition skills.  We need donations of building materials.

For a donation of $35, you will not only receive a T-Shirt for yourself, but you will be providing one for one of our homeless volunteers.  Shirts are black with grays and white.  Sizes available are Medium, Large, X-Large.  Orders may be picked up at Solomon's Porch or mailed.  Specify size in memo at checkout.
